Congratulations to both the Orley U10 A and U11 A Netball teams who played so well today in the Orley Farm Neball Tournament. It was highly competitive but it was played in such a tremendous sporting spirit and I would like to congratulate all of the 7 schools who took part.
Both of our teams fought for every play and our U10 team won the Orley Farm U10 Shield, with our U11 team coming 4th. These were great results for both teams, considering the company that joined us on the day.
I would also life to thank our Year 8 girls who gave up their Saturday to help Miss Young in what was a seamless and extremely well organised event. A number of staff and parents from other schools took time to pass on thanks for hosting their favourite tournament of the year…high praise indeed! Hence, congratulations to the 140+ girls involved and their respective coaches…I was extremely proud today!
