Pre Prep term ended with Christmas Carols in the Quad. With rather seasonal weather, this was a brave move but the right one as there was warmth from the inside! Year 1 and 2 led the way and I was delighted when we all joined in for the final Carol, putting away iPhones and video cameras to simply be together in the moment.
This offered the perfect moment to surprise Aubrey who happens to be celebrating a rather important birthday…as children, parents and staff sang ‘happy birthday’ to the man who leads the team that keeps us so well fed! As I say, the perfect way to open the holidays. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful break over Christmas, essential time together with friends and family.
