Today the Minibeast Roadshow came to Reception bringing all sorts of wonderful creatures to touch, hold and learn about! There were snakes, lizards, toads (giant ones!), enormous snails and insects of every shape texture and colour! I was delighted that this morning in Pre Prep Assembly, I was able to give out ‘good work’ awards to a number of Reception pupils who conquered fears by handling and touching creatures…well done to you all!
Reception then went on an adventure in the meadow to see what they could find…and we were all
On a very different note, I was a little concerned to see a number of Pre Prep staff willing to kiss a rather large frog…their disappointment was palpable when no prince appeared!!! What a fantastic experience, thank you to the Reception staff for organising this new opportunity.
