Tonight was the first performance of our Upper School production. The performance could not have started with a greater challenge as the stage lights, all digitally programmed and working just fine all week, failed! Mrs Gascoigne has maintained a great deal of composure over the past month of rehearsals, but this looked as though it might tip her over the edge…!
We have just completed the first Act…and hot off the press…a quote from Mrs Gascoigne:
…it was flipping awesome!
Now, I need to qualify this, I have sat backstage on the opening night of 7 productions and never heard such a positive and upbeat halftime pep talk! Well done, but remember that there is a second act!
