Year Two children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Environmental Centre this week. They found a variety of pond creatures and other mini-beasts within their natural habitats. They also looked at different types of trees and to top it off they won the highest award for the Lunchtime Challenge’ – Gold/Green – with only 0.9 grams of non-recycled rubbish per child! Well done to our parents as well for taking the time to pack the ‘environmentally friendly’ lunches with their children.
