Sports Day is the epitome of team and individual competition. Everyone is working on that personal best but they are also doing so for the greater good of the House. There were some extraordinary moments of brilliance as we forgot that this was a school event and young adults gave their very all. I suspect that this difference was most noticeable as adults raced pupils and found that our relay teams were really rather fast – that our our parents might need a little more time in the gym!?!
Congratulations to Julians House who won the day. This bodes well for that all important end of year race to lift the Haston Cup up at Harrow as points from sporting and academic life combine to produce an overall winner. I would like to thank Mr Hymas for planning and organising such a fantastic event, he even organised the weather!
