Congratulations to all the pupils and parents who participated and helped in Swimathon today on what was one of the hottest days of the year. Over £1500 has been raised for the School’s nominated charity, SUDEP as the pupils challenged themselves to swim outside their comfort zone and try to achieve 100 lengths of the School pool. In total over 1400 lengths were swam, as parents and visitors either counted, cheered or helped themselves to cupcakes and tea! Two hours of swimming brought the best out of the children involved and it is to their credit, that the whole idea was pupil led and the amount raised more than expected. In total, the School has raised nearly £7000 for SUDEP, so a huge thank you to the School community. This will be the last event for this Charity as the School moves into the next academic year and we search for other similar worthy causes.
