A few weeks ago, Mr Perry announced that he was cycling a very long way in order to raise money for the Outward Bound Trust whose aim is to unlock young people’s potential regardless of their financial or social circumstances, through learning & adventure in the wild.
Over the coming weekend, Mr Perry will join team Dulux Trade taking on the UK’s premier weekend of cycling. The 400 strong team will ride a truly unique 360 degree loop right around London taking in iconic landmarks, hidden green lanes, picturesque villages and a few testing climbs!
However, in order to rally the troops, Mr Perry offered to have his legs waxed should we get him past the £500 barrier…The Hallam family made this a reality…thank you Matthew, allowing us the rather mixed pleasure of watching Mrs Calvey and Mrs Walsh help Mr Perry to achieve a more streamlined profile…please see the attached photos that show the moment that pain receptors recorded what was happening…
If you wish to offer Mr Perry a few consoling pounds towards his charity, more details can be found below:
I obviously cannot condone this approach to fundraising but I can also say that a teacher was harmed in the making of this photo moment! Good luck Mr Perry…you are a very good sport and we wish you well over the next 185 miles…
