As we get to half term, our 1st XI cricket team have had a fantastic few weeks winning five of their six matches. Under the excellent captaincy of James Kenny, they have produced several outstanding performances – Niraan Shah leads the run scorers with 176 runs at an average of 44 (including two 50s) and Saahil Bahadur is the leading wicket with eight wickets including five in the last match against John Lyon. The week leading up to half term was particularly memorable as we won matches against Lochinver House and John Lyon, both played in glorious summer sunshine.
