The first English Speaking Board Assessments of the year took place before half term. To gain the Junior Medallion qualification pupils had to recite a poem, read an extract from a book and present a topic of their choice. It was an enjoyable afternoon and a vast range of topics were covered including ‘The Three Peaks Challenge’, Squash and a most unusual presentation on ‘Visiting an Ostrich Farm’ which included a video of some Ostrich Racing!
