The Year 5’s have been busy creatively building houses in preparation to re-create the Great Fire of 1666.
It all started in the Bakers Shop on Pudding Lane leaving London in complete devastation. For the pupils to see first hand how quickly a fire was worthwhile and sheer shock was left as their houses burnt to the ground in the matter of minutes. The pupils loved this experience – I think you can tell from the big smiles on their faces!
