Today, there was excitement in the air due to the unveiling of the new Year 8 Common Room with some people simply overcome with emotion!
The room is equipped with PCs, radio, sofa, beanbags and even a Christmas tree. To mark this occasion, the Year 8 boys were treated to a special lunch at the surprise opening.
Mr Calvey was quick to point out that the room is a huge privilege and encouraged the boys to use it for study, quiet time and socialising.
Thank you to Mr du Plessis, Mr Birdi, Mr Morris and the Maintenance Team for making this happen – you have brought a smile to the face of every pupil in Year 8!
