Fostering leadership in every learner
We believe that leadership is not just about the few leading the many, it is about leadership for all.Â
Developing leadership skills enables our pupils to be better equipped to take on responsibilities, work collaboratively, solve problems, and make decisions, preparing them for future success in senior schools, college, careers, and beyond.
Encouraging student-led initiatives and community
Pupils run their own clubs and hobbies, are part of the Pay It Forward initiative in Year 8 and the Legacy project in Year 6. Pupils are also involved in the student council, sports council, eco team, digital ambassadors, librarians, wellbeing ambassadors and studio 1 programs.Â

Uniting through teamwork and collaboration
Orley Farm has created opportunities for pupils to work together on projects or assignments, encouraging them to take on different roles within the team through Team building days, activities and the Genesis week camp out.
Mastering problem-solving skills
Our bespoke half-term Leadership and EDGE programme teaches our pupils how to analyse problems and come up with solutions, equipping them with essential critical thinking and innovation skills.
Fostering a culture of responsibility
We encourage pupils to take responsibility for their actions and decisions by creating a culture where accountability is emphasised and rewarded. Our charity EDGE and Science of Wellbeing happiness projects actively engage our students in meaningful activities that not only benefit the community, but also reinforce the importance of responsibility.
A cycle of mentorship Â
We provide opportunities for pupils to be mentored by teachers, staff members, or other students who have leadership experience. This is done through our prefects, student ambassadors, House Captains and vertical mentoring programmes.Â
