At Orley Farm School, positive mental health underpins everything we do. We believe that empowering our pupils to manage adversity and advocate for their own mental health is as important as their academic education — because when students feel good, they excel academically.

Assimilating mental well-being skills with positive psychology
At Orley Farm, we teach a bespoke Science of Wellbeing programme. This evidence-based approach is rooted in positive psychology, and equips students with the skills and practices that lead to happy, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.
Students learn skills to manage their emotions, build positive relationships, stress management, and make responsible decisions, developing their self-awareness, relationship skills, and social awareness.Â
A safe place to speak up
We foster a safe and inclusive environment where our students feel comfortable expressing themselves and seeking help. This includes promoting diversity and inclusivity, ensuring students feel supported and valued.  Â
We have clear methods for identifying and addressing students struggling with poor mental health. We offer mental health resources and support to students, including counselling services, peer support programs, and mental health education.Â
