One of my favourite things about living in London and working at Orley Farm is the huge diversity that we are immersed in every day. Coming from a small suburb in Australia I relish how much I have learnt about different cultures and faiths since living here. Year One were very privileged today as they listened attentively to a wonderful talk about the special Sikh celebration of Guru Nanak’s Birth. We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Tolani and her sister for taking the time to share this special day with us. The children enjoyed the singing and learning about the founder of the Sikh religion. Harnek and Kabir confidently supported Mrs Tolani in sharing their faith with their peers.
