General Kitchen Assistant/Kitchen Porter

22.5hrs per week (Term Time only)

We seek to appoint a dedicated and experienced General Assistant to join our exceptional Catering Department. The successful candidate will ensure that the dining room and service area is set up and maintained to the highest standards. The daily tasks will consist of general kitchen duties, food preparation, serving, cleaning and washing up. An ability to work as part of a team is essential.

The hours are 8:00am to 12:30pm – Mon – Fri (Term time only).

Salary according to experience.

Finance Manager

Full Time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Orley Farm School is a leading co-educational independent preparatory school set in 36 acres of beautiful grounds.  We are a friendly, stable and caring community, proud of our academic achievements and dedicated to bringing out the full potential of each of our 500 pupils.

We would like to appoint an experienced individual to join the school’s Finance Department and take up the post of Finance Manager. The successful applicant will need to be dynamic and proactive and able to lead a busy department and satisfy often conflicting requirements in a calm and efficient way. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations and will be responsible for managing and operating the School’s financial function. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable.

A high level of ICT literacy including an advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel is essential.

Salary will be between £35,000 to £39,500, dependent on experience and qualifications.
