Groundsperson

Orley Farm School would like to appoint a Groundsperson to assist in the maintaining of the School grounds to a high standard which includes gardening maintenance duties involving the use of hand-held powered tools e.g. mowing equipment, trimmers and hedge cutters.  The role includes all aspects of sports turf maintenance and games playing surfaces, as well as general grounds, woodlands and formal gardens.

This is a full-time position, all year round, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:00am – 4:00pm.

Salary will be between £20,600 – £23,250 dependent on experience and qualifications.

Chef

Orley Farm School would like to appoint a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our exceptional Catering Department.  The successful candidate will support the Sous Chef in the preparation and delivery of meals, including breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas as per the menu plans to staff and children.  An ability to work as part of a team is essential.

This is a term-time only position, Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week, 7:00am – 4:00pm.

Salary will be between £20,700 – £22,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.

Caretaker

Required for September 2021

Orley Farm School is a leading co-educational independent preparatory school set in 36 acres of beautiful grounds.  We are a friendly, stable and caring community, proud of our academic achievements and dedicated to bringing out the full potential of each of our 500 pupils.

Orley Farm School would like to appoint a dedicated and experienced to assist the Head Caretaker and Deputy Caretaker with normal caretaking duties. To undertake all duties as and when required, including painting and decorating, preparing areas for school-related functions and activities, moving and setting up furniture and equipment as required.  An ability to work as part of a team is essential.

This is an all year round position, Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week, 7:30am – 3:30pm.

Salary will be between £19,200 – £20,100 dependent on experience and qualifications.

Kitchen and Admin Assistant

Required for September 2021

Orley Farm School is a leading co-educational independent preparatory school set in 36 acres of beautiful grounds.  We are a friendly, stable and caring community, proud of our academic achievements and dedicated to bringing out the full potential of each of our 500 pupils.

Orley Farm School would like to appoint a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant as well as an Admin Assistant to join our exceptional Catering Department. The successful candidate ensure that the dining room and service area is set up and maintained to the highest standards and you will be serving pupils and teachers in a friendly and efficient manner. You will also support the Chef Manager to help manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, which will include sorting out weekly menus, ordering and filing invoices.  The administrative part of the role will be 2 hours per day and the remaining 3.5 hours will be as a Kitchen Assistant. An ability to work as part of a team is essential.

This is a term-time only position, Monday – Friday, 27.5 hours per week, 12:00pm – 5:30pm.

Salary will be between £10,700 – £12,200 dependent on experience and qualifications.
