Our new Music and Drama Schools are taking their first lessons over the coming week and whilst there will obviously be a formal opening, Miss Toyn and I felt that the first lesson needed a moment of celebration. 1S were the first class to be taught in the Pre Prep and Middle School Music Studio and Hilly stepped forward with a pair of scissors to do the honours…Eashan provided the fanfare and Miss Toyn shared some emotional words before kick-starting music in a new setting. I have to say, the singing from 1S did sound even sweeter!
I can’t imagine what will follow as Mrs Gascoigne prepares to move into the Drama School across the corridor and Mrs Peacock moves into the largest and lightest classroom in the school…anticipation builds!
