The quad was full of vibrance, colour and a certain ‘joie de vivre’ that one would expect if we are going to immerse ourselves in the beautifully French culture! This immersion was more than skin deep as pupils competed in a fiercely fought House Spelling Bee…there were culinary delights to explore from cheeses to snails…an orienteering quiz that required teamwork as well as a very good grasp of the language…pancake races etc etc. When I dropped into Pre Prep, they were so excited and really took on the meaning of the day…well done to all! A particularly large ‘thank you’ to Mrs Galan and her wonderful department, days like these provide rich opportunities for deep learning! Please see more photos here.
