Congratulations to our Colts A footballers who won the Orley Farm U11 Football Tournament on Saturday 10th October. In a strong tournament involving eight leading schools, we beat Berkhamsted (1-0), Quainton Hall (3-0) and St. Martin’s (2-0) in the group stages to top our group. This saw us pitted against last year’s winners, Beechwood Park, in the semi-final where we won 1-0. The final saw us play Berkhamsted again in a repeat of September’s U13 Tournament Final! A thrilling game with two late goals gave us a 2-0 win and saw the shield return to South Hill Avenue! The boys were thoroughly deserving winners, scoring nine goals and not conceding a single one in 100 minutes of football. It was a terrific morning with 80 boys playing and over 100 parents treated to excellent prep school competition.
