Our Year 2 children were transported back to the Victorian period today. They were separated into boys and girls and then marched outside to start the day with ‘Drill’. The children were expected to be seen but not heard which was quite a challenge for some. Children sat in rows, chanted tables and attended typical Victorian lessons. Whilst all children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the majority said they preferred school today! Our teachers found not being able to smile the most challenging.
