Year 8 pupils were invited to write letters of application several weeks ago having researched the Job Description for our Junior Leadership roles. Some stunning and very powerful applications took us to a shortlist of candidates who had to make a speech to the school followed by a formal interview with a panel of senior staff (the same panel who ask pretty much the same questions of teachers applying to join Orley Farm!). Middle and Upper School then voted, as did the staff and following our strict and dignified election campaign for the Head and Deputy Head of School I was delighted to be able to share the results with the school this morning. Congratulations to Zainali Jamal and Arjun Kapour who will share the responsibilities as Deputy Head of School and to Arav Patel who will be Head of School. It was wonderful to have Shaan Ali Remani and Dan Wong return from their senior schools to hand over the baton along with some pearls of wisdom. Thank you to all of the Year 8 pupils who took a risk.
