Celebration Assembly

26/05/2017

It gets harder each week to finish Celebrations Assembly on time as we have so many reasons to applaud our children.  The effort grade competition is hotting up and there was a new Upper School form of the week thanks to some stunning individual effort grades:

Form of the Work: MS – 3T, US – 7C

Heroes of the week: Jasmine (3T) and Kian (7C)

The weekly house competition scores:

Hastings 449

Broadrick 412

Hopkins 405

Julian 400

Beanbag Cheer nominations this week included (amongst others): the team who had to wait patiently for transport after their away match, exemplary behaviour from Rahil during all the play rehearsals, Varshan for putting himself forward to do something out of his comfort zone, Jordan for leading the way with healthy eating, Mr du Plessis for organising and supporting the leaders and Matthew who, having lost his bet with Mr. Cato, jumped into the swimming pool wearing his Watford kit (Mr. Cato was mightily relieved he won!).

Olivia, Kira, Lilia and Jayden all had awards from Harrow Hockey Club, the Fair Play Award, Top Goal Scorer, U10 Best Player and Most Improved respectively.  A super effort girls.

We are also very proud of Khaylan (5C), Jaidan (4L) and Krishan (5C) who all took part in a Mini-Mudder to rise money for our charity this year, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Centre for Rare Diseases.  They raised an impressive £1,062.21.  Well done and thank you boys!
